The Rock Hill Aquatic Center was designed to serve as the primary swimming facility for the Rock Hill School District #3 and to provide
swim lessons for every 3rd grader within the school system. Thanks to a partnership with the Rock Hill Area YMCAs, the school district
decided to build the facility and allow the Rock Hill YMCA to manage the facility and provide all programs and services to meet the needs of the growing community.

This combining of resources has led to the development of a state-of-the-art facility ready to serve York County with everything from Senior Aquatic classes to rehabilitative programming, including arthritis and fibromyalgia; from Parent and Tot classes to Elite Athlete and competitive training, including Masters Swim Programs.

The high wood-beamed cathedral ceiling and bleacher seating not only gives the facility unsurpassed acoustical abilities,
but makes for a stunning visual as well. .
