
YMCA After School Care Program
Join the
YMCA for after school fun. The enriching, fun-filled activities
include:
a monthly
field trip, arts and crafts, cooking, gym games, board games,
playground time, Kidzlit Reading program, homework assistance,
swimming, and computer lab.
The YMCA is open for all-day care during
teacher workdays, and school holidays from 7 a.m.-6 p.m.

The program is only closed the following days
throughout the year: September 1, November 27, 28, December 24, 25, 26,
January 1, and July 4.

The Charlotte Avenue Branch YMCA offers after
school care for children who attend all public elementary schools in Rock
Hill and Saint Anne’s Catholic School. The YMCA also provides after
school care for students at all Rock Hill middle schools.
Central Child Development Center
The YMCA will provide transportation to and
from Central Child Developement Center and The Children's School at Sylvia
Circle along with activities, swimming, crafts, story time, songs, playground
time, games, field trips and more! Children who attend the early morning
session at Central may be dropped off at the YMCA at 7 am. The YMCA will
transport them to school and pick them up at dismissal. The YMCA will
also pick up children who attend the late session with dismissal at 2:05
pm. The fee is $320 per month for 4 or more hours of care per day. Financial
assistance is available for those who qualify.
Day Camp
Ages 5-10
Hours of operation: 7am-6pm
Full day programs with weekly themes, field
trips for all day campers (all trips included at no
additional cost), crafts, swimming, gym, daily devotions,
team building, cooking, character development,
playground activities, one T-shirt and more.
Schedule: Camp Little Feet (Ages 5-6)
Camp Challenge (Ages 7-8)
Camp Quest (Ages 9-10)
Adventure Club
Ages 11-14
Located at the Charlotte Ave. YMCA, Adventure
Club is for campers age 11-14 (High Adventures
age 12-13). Campers will enjoy field trips, a
season’s pass to Paramount’s Carowinds, crafts,
devotions, swimming, gym time, intramurals and
more!
