Parent/Child

Ages 6 months- 3 years
Parent/Tot offers a golden opportunity to introduce your baby/ infant to the water. Parents participate with their child in the water during familiarization activities. The class consists of various water games, songs, and movement in the water.

YMCA Hurricanes Swim Team

Ages 4 – 18
This is a fun and exciting opportunity for all children who want to improve their strokes and swim against other YMCAs on the weekends. It is a very low-key, introduction to a wonderful sport. The season runs from early October until the first week in March. Registration is from August 1 - September 15 and costs $35 for members and $45 for non-members.

Water Aerobics (Aquacise)

Ages 15 and older (Members Only)
Aquacise is aerobics in the water at varied levels of intensity. It offers a wonderful way to keep fit while not impacting heavily on joints. It uses natural resistance from the water to help tone and develop muscle strength.

The hours for this activity are Monday-Friday 9am-10am and 6pm-7pm.

Self-Motivated Exercise

Ages 15 and older (Members Only)
Self-Motivated Exercise allows adult participants, who do not want a structured class, to walk and swim across the pool, or workout alone.

Water Walking

Ages 15 and older (Members Only)
1 mile walked in the water is equivalent to 3 miles on land!

Pool Parties

The Chester County Branch YMCA can host celebrations for birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions. Come and have fun in the pool before feasting in the side area of pool. Book early; there is limited space.

Open Swim

(Members Only)
During open swim, the pool is open to all members for fun of any kind. Children under age 12 must be accompanied at all times by a parent.

Swim Lessons

The Chester County YMCA offers swim lessons for ages 3 to adult. Each session is for 8 lessons.
»Cost: $45/month Members / $60/month for Non Members.

Session III:
Tues/Thurs 4:30-5pm

Pre - Lifeguarding Class

Ages 11-14
This course, offered at the Chester County Branch, instructs
participants in both lifeguarding and CPR for the professional rescuer. Successful completion will gain the participant pre-knowledge of lifeguarding. The class cost is $40.

Lifeguarding Certification

Ages 15 and older
Costs $155 for members and $200 for non-members. The Lifeguarding course instructs participants in both lifeguarding and CPR for the professional rescuer. Successful completion will gain the participant certification by the Red Cross.

Family Swim

All ages (Members Only)
Family Swim offers a special time for families to enjoy the pool. A parent must accompany children.
