Karate
In association with Greer’s Martial Arts Academy,
the YMCA is offering UNIVERSAL KARATE-DO classes for 4 years
old
and older. Cohen Greer is the chief instructor. UNIVERSAL KARATE-DO
combines physical conditioning along with mental discipline
to produce a sound mind and a healthy body. The classes for
Karate are Thursdays, 5:30 – 6:30 pm and Saturdays,
10-11 am. The monthly cost is $30 for YMCA members and $45 for
non-members.
Flag Football
Ages 6-8
Cost:$40 Per Participant
A Birth Certificate is required at time of registration.
Registration: Begins July 1st
Games held on Monday or Tuesday evenings starting in September.
Tackle Football
Ages 9-10 (Small Fry Division)
Ages 11-12(Mite Division)

T-Ball
T-Ball is a non-competitive, team based program
for boys and girls. It is designed to teach the basic skills
and concepts of the game in a fun-filled safe environment.
Cost: $35 Members $45 Non-members
Cheerleading
The Chester County YMCA has registration for cheerleading
going on now! There are three divisions: Flag division ages
4 -8 years of age, Small Fry division-ages 9-10 years of
age and Mite division-ages 11-12 years of age. Parents will
complete a registration form and provide a birth certificate
for the child so a copy of it can be made for records. The
registration is $40 for all participants.
Bridge Club
The Tuesday Duplicate Bridge Club meets at the YMCA every
Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 pm in the conference room. The ladies
are thrilled to have such a nice place to play bridge. Anyone
interested in joining should contact Leila Shannon at 385-6452
or Scott Brown at 581-9622. Mrs. Shannon will be happy
to teach anyone the techniques of duplicate bridge, although
there are really no major differences from party bridge. Come
join the fun and fellowship of a game.
Dance
The YMCA off ers dance classes to participants ages 3 to 10 years old.
Classes are held on Tuesday from 5:30-6:30pm for ages 3-6 and 6:30-7:30pm for ages 7-10. A birth certificate is needed at the time of registration.

Youth Basketball
The Chester County YMCA offers a basketball league for participants ages 9 to 15. Games will be played on Saturdays. Practice will begin in mid-December with games beginning in January. Remote sign ups will be held in the Richburg and Great Falls areas.

Biddy Basketball
The Chester YMCA offers and instructional league in which boys and girls learn the fundamentals of basketball and play weekly games. Games and practices will be held on Mondays. A birth certificate is required at the time of registration.

Indoor Soccer
The Chester YMCA offers indoor soccer for participants ages 4 to 6. Registration begins on September 1, 2009. The season will begin in October and run through mid November. A birth certificate is required at the time of registration.
