
Clover Leafs Senior Travel Club
The Clover Branch YMCA operates the Clover Leafs Senior Travel
Club for active adults. Monthly meetings include socials and
guest speakers covering topics such as current issues, health
and fitness, and travel attractions. Meetings are on the first
Thursday of the month at 10 a.m. followed by a social.

Clover Leaf Lunch and Learn
A lunch and learn is held on the first Tuesday of each month at noon
at the Knox Street Building in Clover. Attendees bring their favorite
side dish to share. Guest speakers educate the participants on a wide
range of health and civic issues. Please contact the front desk for a
complete list of upcoming speakers.

Afterschool
After school care for elementary age children is provided
in the Clover School district at Griggs Road, Crowder’s
Creek, Bethel, and Kinard Elementary schools and Lake Wylie
Community Church. Daily activities include: study hall, organized
games, snacks, arts and crafts, movies, field trips and more.

Childwatch
Our childwatch program is FREE to all members while they are enjoying our program and facility. Our childwatch program offers age-appropriate activities for infants and children through age 9. Please send your child dressed for fun!
Hours of operation:
Monday-Friday: 8am-Noon and 4-8pm
Saturday: 8am-Noon
Dance/Theatre
Our Dance and Theatre program is designed to introduce children
to the arts and get them moving! In addition to dance classes,
which consist of lessons in Ballet, Tap and Jazz, children will have the
opportunity to participate in character roles, singing, costuming and
set design. Our program will run from September through April. As
the program comes to a close we will feature a recital where students
will have an opportunity to showcase to family and friends what they
have learned. The program is open to children ages 5 and up. Please

ZUMBA
The Clover Branch YMCA is now offering Zumba on Monday evenings
at 5:30 pm and Wednesday mornings at 9:00 am. What exactly
is Zumba? It is a 60 minute aerobic dance program featuring
a variety of rhythms from all over Latin America. om the
beaches of Rio de Janeiro to the streets of Carnival comes
the newest, hottest and most exciting workout - all in one
sizzling session - packed full of exciting low impact, calorie
consuming moves everyone can do! You will get a taste of
everything - merengue, salsa, flamenco, samba, tango, reggae,
cumbia, calypso, even Middle Eastern belly dancing in one
class. Zumba is a great cardiovascular exercise.
Zumba is fun, effective and simple. It is rapidly becoming
the next fitness sensation! This is the type of exercise
you'll want to do everyday. You can start at any level and
it's probably easier than any other program you've done before.
At the same time, it is effective.
The magic of Zumba isn't just in the way it makes you look,
it is the way it makes you feel. Feel the music. Feel your
body move. Feel your heart pump and your body sweat. Before
you know it, you're having so much fun, you forget it's exercise

Discovery Club - After School Program
Discovery Club is an after-school enrichment program for students in
Pre-K through middle school. The program operates from school dismissal
until 6:15 pm Monday-Friday in the Clover School District elementary
and middle schools. Participants in the Discovery Club are kept at
their school sites on teacher work days and holidays for no additional
charge from 7:00 am until 6:15 pm. All day activities include fi eld trips
at no additional charge.
Activities include homework centers, snacks, arts and crafts, games,
organized fi tness classes (such as Yoga, Zumba), devotions and other
extra curricular activities. Optional activities available at parent’s discretion
include: dance lessons, scouting, and Child Evangelism Fellowship.
