At the Fort Mill YMCA, the fully equipped fitness center includes
Magnum weight machines, free weights, treadmills, stair climbers, recumbent
bikes, and cross trainers.
Zumba-Thon

Date: April 16th
5pm-8pm
Come get your groove on with the best, have loads of fun and support a good cause; 2 hours of zumba with varies instructors. All proceeds to benefit the YMCA Opening Doors Program.
F3P-Forging a Foundation of Fitness

Date: March-May
Forging a Foundation of Fitness through Positive Personal Progress. Program designed with teenage girls in mind! Addresses the issues of weight management, exercise selection and peer pressure.
Survyvor School Boot Camp

Date: March-April
A monthly program designed for fitness enthusiast who are ready to take it to the next level! Equipment used consists of dumbells, tubing, tire drills and a climbing wall; an intense class with a boot camp format.
Triathlon Training

Date: March-May
10 Week training in running, biking and swimming to gain the skills necessary to go the distance in the Sprint Triathlon.
Group Fitness
Classes include Kettlebell Pump, Treadmill, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba,
Group Cycle, Core Conditioning, Step (Beginner/Intermediate/
Advanced), Boot Camp, Custom Cuts, Sweat Shop, Silver Sneakers,
Shape and Flex, Kickboxing, Athletic Conditioning and Budokon.
Fitness 101
Cost: $5
Fitness 101 is a course designed for anyone serious about getting
leaner, stronger, and in shape once and for all. This course will give
information you need to meet your fitness goals in the safest and
most effective way. Addressing issues such as proper breathing,
range of motion, speed of motion and exercise selection, this is
a must have course for those wishing to succeed in the quest for
physical excellence. The cost is FREE, but so that we may adequately
prepare, please register at the front desk of the Fort Mill YMCA.

Personal Training
Cost: 1 session $50, 5 sessions $230, 10 sessions $420
One on one fitness training with a nationally certified trainer. Our
goal is to evaluate, motivate, and educate anyone who desires the
extra edge personal training offers.
Partner Training
Cost: Member $175/5 sessions, $310/10 sessions
Work out with a friend and save money. A YMCA trainer will guide you
and a partner through a personalized workout.
Group Training
Cost: 2x/week $120/month 3x/week $150/month
Personal training, in a small group setting, with a nationally certified
trainer. Our goal is to evaluate, motivate, and educate anyone who
desires the extra edge personal training offers.
*Groups must have at least 5 members. Rates will adjust for any
groups less than 5 participants. This program is available on an
ongoing basis with registration beginning the 1st day of each month.
Yoga Personal Training
Deepen your understanding of certain pose or sequence of poses (asanas) while learning basic yoga breathing techniques. Yoga Personal Training is ideal for the beginner or for the advanced to help.
Metabolic Makeover
Cost: Members $375/ for 36 PT sessions and $15.00/manual fee
Non-Members $425/ for 36 PT sessions and $15.00/manual fee

A 12 week course that includes personal training 3x/week. Exercise
accountability, food journaling, grocery store tours, and exercise
programming are key to the success of your experience.

Kids Fitness
Kids Boot Camp (K-5)
Less intense than the adult version, with an emphasis on challenging and non-competitive activities. Speed and agility relays, balance, core strength and mat exercises provide non-stop action for the adventurous spirit in every kid. Wednesday (ongoing) 4:30-5:00 (K-2) and 5:00-5:30 (3rd-5th)
Youth Fitness/Strength Training

Date: March-April
Youth fitness traiining rquired for ages 12 to 14. 2 day training ages 12 & 13 for cardio and magnum equipment. 3 day training for 14 yr old on cardio, magnum and free weights.
Youth Sports Conditioning

Date: March-April
This program focuses on building speed, strength, agility, guickness and endurance.
Fitness Center Orientations
Orientations may be scheduled free of charge with one of our Fitness
Trainers. An orientation allows our trainers to talk with you about
your goals and help you through the fitness equipment, setting your
proper weight to lift and assisting with the correct seat settings for
your workout. Personal Trainers are available for those who prefer a
fitness coach who will meet with them daily, weekly, or monthly to help
achieve their goals. Participants 12-14 years of age must complete a
Fitness Center Orientation and have adult supervision while in the fitness
facility.
Fitness Classes
Certified exercise instructors teach all fitness classes. All aerobics
classes contain cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility exercises.

Fitness Express
Cost: $89 for Members $109 for Non-Members
A 6 week introductory course for strength
training combining weight, cardiovascular,
periodization and nutrition, along with a training
session with a nationally certified Personal
Trainer and exercise plan for the rest of your
week.
Course begins Oct. 7 or 8. Wed at 8:45 am or 10:45 am (Fort Mill location) or Thursday at 7 pm (Gold Hill location)

Yoga Therapy
An 8 week course that will provide a comprehensive healing environment in a small group setting for individuals with chronic musculoskeletal disorders, post rehab or who are de-conditioned. Includes meditation, group sharing, breathing, therapeutic yoga posutures. Hatha Yoga is the primary Yoga practice.
