
Fitness Center
At the Gold Hill Branch YMCA, the fully equipped fitness center includes
Magnum weight machines, free weights, treadmills, recumbent
bikes, and cross trainers.
Gold Hill Group Fitness Room Rental
Cost: $50/hour for parties, meetings, etc., $20/hour for non-profit
We are happy to announce that our Gold Hill large Group Fitness
Room with hardwood floors is now available to rent. A signed
contract and $50 refundable security deposit are required. The Gold
Hill Branch YMCA reserves the right to refuse usage to any individual
or organization not in keeping with the mission of the YMCA.
Youth Strength Training
Classes: Oct 8th-12th Nov 26th-30th
A weight training program geared specifically towards teens! Our Trainers will introduce the fundamentals of lifting weights while stressing the importance of safety and proper posture for growing bodies! Class meets everyday for one week. Personal Training
Cost: 1 session $50, 5 sessions $230, 10 sessions $420
One on one fitness training with a nationally certified trainer. Our
goal is to evaluate, motivate, and educate anyone who desires the
extra edge personal training offers.
Partner Training
Cost: Member $175/5 sessions , $310/10 sessions
Work out with a friend and save money. A YMCA trainer will guide you
and a partner through a personalized workout.
Group Training
Cost: 2x/week $120/month 3x/week $150/month
Personal training, in a small group setting, with a nationally certified
trainer. Our goal is to evaluate, motivate, and educate anyone who
desires the extra edge personal training offers.
*Groups must have at least 5 members. Rates will adjust for any
groups less than 5 participants. This program is available on an
ongoing basis with registration beginning the 1st day of each month.
Metabolic Makeover
Cost: Members $375/ for 36 PT sessions and $15.00/manual fee
Non-Members: $425/ for 36 PT sessions and $15.00/manual fee
Registration: Begins May 4
A 12 week course that includes personal training 3x/week. Exercise
accountability, food journaling, grocery store tours, and exercise
programming are key to the success of your experience.
Classes begin the week of June 1st. Available at Fort Mill and Gold Hill
Locations.
M-W-F | 5:30am, 8:30am, 9:30am, 10:30am and 4:30pm
T-Th | 5:45am, 8:30am, 9:30am, 12:30pm, 5:30pm and 6:30pm

Fitness Center Orientations
Orientations may be scheduled free of charge with one of our Fitness
Trainers. An orientation allows our trainers to talk with you about
your goals and help you through the fitness equipment, setting your
proper weight to lift and assisting with the correct seat settings for
your workout. Personal Trainers are available for those who prefer a
fitness coach who will meet with them daily, weekly, or monthly to help
achieve their goals. Participants 12-14 years of age must complete a
Fitness Center Orientation and have adult supervision while in the fitness
facility.
Fitness Express
Cost: Members $89 Non-Members $109
Registration: Begins May 4
A 6 week introductory course to strength training. Includes weight
training, cardiovascular training, periodization, nutrition, a weekly
training session with a nationally certified Personal Trainer, and an
exercise plan for the rest of your week.
Course begins June 15 .
M-W 8:45am or 10:45am at Fort Mill Location
Th 7:00pm at Gold Hill Location
Fitness Classes
Certified exercise instructors teach all fitness classes. All aerobics
classes contain cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility exercises.

Cycling Classes
Check out the fitness class schedule for cycling classes. Instructors
integrate road-bike techniques into indoor, class formats on stationary
bikes. Complete with music and visualization techniques, these classes
take groups on an imaginary ride providing an outstanding fitness workout.
Youth Sports Conditioning
Designed for youth who are ready and will to take their sports performance
to the next level, this program focuses on building speed, strength,
agility, quickness and endurance. These factors are what make every
athlete at every level improve. Individuals will train with a group of no more
than 8 participants with a nationally certifi ed Personal Trainer. Groups
are divided by age 7-12 yrs and 13-18 years and meet 2 times per week.

Youth Fit Cardio and Strength Training
This program is an introduction/orientation for the youth age group.
The fitness floor rules for youth are as follows :
Ages 10 - 11 may only use the cardio equipment with adult
supervision at all times. They are required to go through a free fitness
orientation to learn proper usage of cardio equipment and fitness
floor rules.
Ages 12 - 13 will be able to use the cardio equipment and the
magnum fitness equipment provided they have been through the
two day youth fit training course at the cost of $59.00.
Youth Age 14 can use all the equipment on the fitness floor provided
they complete a three day youth fit training course at the cost of
$69.00.
Youth Age 15 and up are free to use all fitness floor equipment.
Children 12 and older will not need adult supervision after attending
these classes, however if they are not able to follow the fitness floor
rules they may be asked to leave the floor. Please contact Lisa Arrage
