Snowmobiling at Yellowstone

Snowmobiling at Yellowstone

We have two exciting snowmobile trips this year! Enjoy one or two days of snowmobiling in the forest surrounding West Yellowstone, Montana, and a one day guided tour into Yellowstone National Park in a “snow coach” or by snowmobile. You will see abundant wildlife including buffalo, elk, moose and more, and a winter wonderland of snow covered mountains and world famous geysers!

Ages Restrictions:
In order to drive a snowmobile, you must be 16 years of age and have a valid driver license. Any age may ride double with an adult.

Registration Dates:
Receive a $50 per person discount if you register before September 7, 2018.

Wednesday – Saturday ,  January 23- January 27,2019

Personal Training Cost:
Individual Packages

(1) 30 Minute Sessions = $30

(1) 60 Minute Session = $50

Personal training, in a small group setting, with a fitness staff member. Our goal is to evaluate, motivate, and educate anyone who desires the extra edge personal training offers.

* Groups must have at least 5 members. Rates will adjust for any groups less than 5 participants. This program is available on an ongoing basis with registration beginning the 1st day of each month.

One on One Basketball Skills Development

One on One Basketball Skills Development

The Charlotte Avenue YMCA is offering a One on One Basketball Skill Development Course. The co-ed, skill sessions are designed to improve ball handling, shooting, passing, defense, agility/footwork and overall basketball technique in a one on one individualized setting. Training is recommended at least twice a week. Once registered a schedule will be set up for each participant. Registration times and schedules are set on a first come, first serve basis.

Age: 5-17

Each session is an hour in length.


Diabetes Prevention Program

The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program is a one-year, community-based program where participants work in small groups with a trained Lifestyle Coach in a relaxed, classroom setting. In 16 weekly sessions followed by 8 monthly sessions, participants learn how to incorporate healthier eating, moderate physical activity, and problem-solving and coping skills into their daily lives. Participants will get the hands-on support they need from Lifestyle Coaches trained on a CDC-approved curriculum that is part of the CDC-led National Diabetes Prevention Program.

Basketball Skill Development

Participants will learn to improve ball handling skills, shooting, defense, agility/footwork, and over-all basketball knowledge. This program is open to girls and boys. Space is limited.
