Charlotte Avenue Branch YMCA


The Charlotte Avenue Branch YMCA offers a variety of fitness equipment. The large fitness center is located downstairs. It is fully equipped including Magnum weight machines, free weights, treadmills, stair climbers, recumbent bikes, and cross trainers. Additional cardiovascular equipment is located upstairs on the walking track and in the small fitness area next to the group fitness room.

Certified exercise instructors teach all fitness classes. All aerobics classes contain cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility exercises. (The durations and intensity of each depends on the class description.) Personal Training Cost:
Individual Packages

(1) 30 Minute Sessions = $30

(1) 60 Minute Session = $50

(5) 60 Minute Sessions = $230

(10) 60 Minutes Sessions = $420

Group Training

Personal training, in a small group setting, with a fitness staff member. Our goal is to evaluate, motivate, and educate anyone who desires the extra edge personal training offers.

(10) 60 Minutes Sessions = $325

* Groups must have at least 5 members. Rates will adjust for any groups less than 5 participants. This program is available on an ongoing basis with registration beginning the 1st day of each month.

One on One Basketball Skills Development

One on One Basketball Skills Development

The Charlotte Avenue YMCA is offering One on One Basketball Skills Development. The co-ed, skill sessions are designed to improve ball handling, shooting, passing, defense, agility/footwork and overall knowledge of basketball in an individualized setting. Training is recommended at least twice a week.

Age: 5-18

Session Dates:
June 10 – August 10, 2019

Session Days and Times:
Once registered a schedule will be set up for each participant.
Monday – Friday | 10:00 am | 11:00 am | 12:00 pm | 1:00 pm
*Each session is 1 hour in length.

(8) One on One sessions: $250
(8) Partnered sessions: $150*
*Partnered training consists of (2) athletes, $150 per each athlete


Included in regional YMCA membership is use of the handball and racquetball courts at the Charlotte Avenue Branch YMCA. Two first-class courts are available. Call after 9 am on the day of play to reserve a court for one hour. On Friday, reservations may be made for the weekend. The YMCA Board of Directors and staff urge all players to wear protective eye guards.
