Jumpstart Program
What is the JumpStart Program?
Through a generous grant from the Chester Health Care Foundation, the Chester County YMCA has been able to institute the JumpStart Program. This program is a collaborative effort to decrease the significant health risk factors that currently exist within our community.
Who Qualifies?
The JumpStart program is for those who are at significant risk or currently suffer from High Blood Pressure, Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes, Obesity, and Cancer.
How will it help me?
JumpStart is a six month program designed to help you create a healthier lifestyle that will include a regular habit of exercise and a better quality of life.
Wellness Advisor
Each participant will be assigned an advisor that will design your individual exercise program and monitor your progress throughout the six months.
Fitness Assessment
You will receive a fitness assessment at the beginning, middle, and end of the program. This will help to track your progress and keep you motivated.
Health Age
Your health age will be calculated based on your current health conditions and family history. This health age is compared to your actual calendar age.
Current Risk Factors
Your current risk factors will be calculated. You will also be instructed on lifestyle changes that can decrease these risks.

All your workout sessions will be logged into a computer software program designed specially for the Chester County YMCA, allowing your advisor to monitor your attendance.

Multi-purpose room for 1 hour & game room for 1 hour.

Just A Pool Party!
Swim for 1 1/2 half hours Member: $80 Nonmember: $120 Sliding Around! Slide and gymnasium rental for 1 1/2 hours.

Swim for 1 hour plus slide & gymnasium for 1 hour

All party packages require a deposit payable by check. The deposit must be paid before your party is officially booked on the party calendar. Please visit the YMCA front desk staff for a Party Application/Request Form.
Karate
Ages: 4 years and up
In addition with Greer’s Martial Arts Academy, the YMCA offers Universal Karate-do classes for 4 years to adults. Cohen Greer is the chief instructor.
