Race for Chase Triathlon Training Program

Race for Chase Triathlon Training Program

The CMAK Foundation has collaborated with the YMCA to sponsor the Race4Chase Kid’s Triathlon in memoriam of Chase Kowalski, the students, and educators of the Sandy Hook tragedy. This six week summer program aims to keep Chase’s energetic spirit alive by inspiring athleticism within children, ages 6 to 12, and providing them with a safe, healthy, non-competitive environment to develop a new love for the sport of triathlon. All athletes are instructed in swimming, biking, and running, and are also taught the fundamentals of good nutrition and flexibility. At the end of program, all of the athletes in each community compete in a short youth triathlon race.

This will be an application process, you are not guaranteed a spot. Participants are selected based on their applications. All applications are due by April 30, 2019. The application process will begin January 1, 2019 and all participants will know if they are in the program no later than May 15, 2019.
