Roll through the winter with the Log Rolling Club at the Baxter YMCA! All ages and skill levels welcome. Whether you are just giving it a try or a regular club member, you will be with certified log rolling instructors giving you all the coaching you need to progress your skills while having fun.

Triathlon Training: Sprint or Olympic

Triathlon Training: Sprint or Olympic

This is a triathlon training program designed to improve your running, swimming and cycling. This training will help prepare individuals for a Sprint or Olympic triathlon event. Swim and cycling experts will visit training sessions to provide additional guidance throughout the program. Participants will need to be able to swim 50 M without stopping, bike 10 miles and run at least 1.5 miles before beginning this training. There will be an informal meeting with the coach on February 5, 2019.

Youth Soccer

Youth Soccer

Ages: 5-6

Soccer program based on teaching the fundamental of soccer, sportsmanship, and team work in a fun environment. Ages 5 & 6 will have a 15 minute practice then a game. Any game or practice that is cancelled will be made up the following Friday night.

Rock Steady Boxing Against Parkinson Disease

At Rock Steady the opponent is Parkinson’s disease. Rock Steady Boxing is a program designed to empower people with Parkinson’s disease to fight back using speed, muscular endurance, footwork and agility to defend against and overcome opponents. This co-ed, summer swim league focuses on developing quality stroke technique, participation and fundamentals. Each participant’s age as of June 1 will determine their age division for the season. Practice times will be determined by age group.

A co-ed, basketball camp to help youth build confidence and make new friends. The daily camp will consist of basketball training that will include games, contest, guest speakers and a lot fun play. Pee-Wee Sampler Clinic

A 6 week, co-ed sampler clinic to introduce children ages 3-4 to the sports of soccer, football, and basketball. They will learn the basic fundamentals of each sport spending two weeks on each sport. They will work on skills such as running, passing, dribbling, kicking, shooting and defense.
