Diabetes Prevention Program
The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program is a one-year, community-based program where participants work in small groups with a trained Lifestyle Coach in a relaxed, classroom setting. In 16 weekly sessions followed by 8 monthly sessions, participants learn how to incorporate healthier eating, moderate physical activity, and problem-solving and coping skills into their daily lives. Participants will get the hands-on support they need from Lifestyle Coaches trained on a CDC-approved curriculum that is part of the CDC-led National Diabetes Prevention Program.

The program emphasizes two primary goals for the first half of the program: reduce body weight by 7% and increase physical activity by 150 minutes per week. To sign up, participants must be:
- at least 18 years old;
- overweight (BMI greater than or equal to 25); AND
- Diagnosed with prediabetes via a blood test or gestational diabetes;
- if a blood test is not available, a qualifying risk score

The goal of the personal training program is to evaluate, motivate and educate anyone who desires the extra edge personal training offers. If you are ready to see results, start personal training today! One on one fitness training with a nationally certified trainer. Please contact the branch for more details.

(1) 60 Minute Session = $50

* Groups must have at least 5 members. Rates will adjust for any groups less than 5 participants. This program is available on an ongoing basis with registration beginning the 1st day of each month.
Adventure Guides is a father/child program that provides opportunities for fathers and children to spend quality time together making memories. It is a program designed to build strong, lasting relationships by fostering understanding , companionship and a shared appreciation for outdoors.
There is a tentative schedule, as Adventure Guides will meet about 5 – 6 times per year at various locations.

$175 for Y Members and Non-members
Additional fees will be included during the bigger camping trips. This fee is intended as a sign-up fee and covering costs for smaller events.
Silver Sneakers is a nationally designed exercise regimen to improve strength, flexibility and range of motion as well as alleviate the pain of arthritis.

Fitness Center Orientation
Fitness center orientations with a certified strength trainer or personal trainer are free to our members. We provide a safe, effective, easy-to-understand, personal workout program.
Cost: Free to Members

Group Fitness Classes
We offer a variety of fitness classes each week! We have certified instructors in classes such as Yoga, Beginner Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Group Cycle, Kick Boxing, and SilverSneakers.
