Volunteer
We believe that lasting personal and social change happens when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. When you volunteer at the Y, you take an active role in bringing about change right in your own neighborhood.
Guided by our core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
We Could Use People Like You
It’s easy to volunteer. Just complete the volunteer form and deliver it to the front desk of a branch near you. We’re looking forward to positively changing our community with you.
UPYMCA Volunteer Application
Leaders Club
Leaders Club is a volunteer organization open to local high school boys and girls. Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:15 p.m. Members of the club assist in implementing YMCA programs such as indoor soccer, youth basketball, and t-ball. During the events, members serve as referees, scorekeepers and field monitors. The club also holds several social events including the highlighted year-end beach trip. There is no cost to join. Applications are available at the Charlotte Avenue Branch YMCA. Contact Chet Tucker at ctucker@upymca.org for more information.
